Getting older?

TGIF still brings a huge feeling of happiness at the end of a crazy week! 10 years ago TGIF meant a wild night out with a "squad" of my "closest" friends! Now, it means movies with my munchkin, coffee with my Sweet Heart. No, I don't really think it means I'm getting older, really I see it as enjoying the most genuine times of my life! {good sigh}

HOME WORK, not working FROM home..

In school, I was an average student.. I always seemed to pass the subjects I was GOOD at with flying colors without much effort.. or studying & the subjects I was terrible at with little effort & virtually NO studying... Thus, just barley passing those classes.. POINT... I DO NOT know HOW to study! As an adult now who works from home, I have found myself doing MORE studying that I ever have..

Luke 12:48 ⁴⁸ But someone who does not know, and then does something wrong, will be punished only lightly. When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required.

And this is where I find myself now.. When the Lord blesses you and you acknowledge that they are HIS gifts you are receiving, thats when you know that life as you knew it is over.. There is no such thing as wasting time or just getting by when you walk with the Lord. He is GREAT so you are destined for greatness also. 

I have NEVER read through the bible.. Yet in the matter of 2 week I have gotten through 2 books of the bible all while reading 2 other books, 1 for our CONNECT GROUP which Roy & I are Leading (Newly to Nearly Wed Couples.) & the other book which I LOVE so far for a Woman's book study at our church being taught by an AMAZING LeadHER! A "title" I am becoming very fond of, familiar with & excited to hear!

 

Though all this studying is taking away a lot of time from my day to day things like Laundry & all the other fun aspects of "running" a home, I think back to the famous words of my mother.. (Her own words of advice she never she never accepts) THERE WILL ALWAYS BE "SOMETHING" to do.. So don't worry. What I have found is that although there has been more studying, the amount of cleaning and so on has stayed the same.. Somehow, it IS getting done & no one has died, had to be rushed to the hospital or been lost, in the process.!! Because God IS THAT Good!! How awesome is that!! 

UNLEASHED

Tomorrow I begin my Journey to live a life Unleashed with a room filled of inspirational, not just women but Christian Women!! I am super excited & just found out that one of my best friends in the world will be with me the whole way through. For weeks now we have been complaining to each other how we NEVER get to spend time or see each other because of our Crazy Schedules. Just goes to show you how AWESOME, FUNNY & PERFECT my God really is.. Over the past few days Jazz and I have been witness to SOO many hurting people (most very close friends of ours) & in one way or another both or one of us has been able to be a testimony of Gods love & grace!! That is so AMAZING to me because there was a time when you would have heard very little or nothing at all from either of us about God/Jesus and His love.. So as my "unleashing" continues I pray for & look forward to many more opportunities to share my/our story(s).....
